Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) Updates

 

Thank you for the great support - especially for the donations we’ve already received, and the attendance at this week’s Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) Case Management meeting!

 

As promised, we are providing a brief update on the meeting and on our continued efforts to defend a city-owned public road at Richview Plaza.

 

June 1, 2026 OLT Meeting

Representatives for Trinity, the City of Toronto and the RGRRA attended the virtual conference and had a lengthy discussion.

 

With agreement from all parties, the OLT Chair rescheduled the meeting for June 19 @ 10am, allowing time to exchange additional information, address Party Status and prepare for the next steps in the process. We will share the link for the virtual meeting as soon as it’s available.

June 19, 2026 OLT Meeting

Representatives for Trinity, the City of Toronto and the RGRRA attended the virtual conference and had a lengthy discussion.

 

The OLT Chair agreed to grant the RGRRA provisional Party Status which we expect will be final and official at our next meeting in March 2027, when we have evidence of being ready and able (funded for expertd to testify). It was also agreed tht we will reconvene in March 2027 AFTER reviewing a City staff report on how a Public Road can be conveyed to the City.
